If you have a pet, this post is for you! We became cat owners on Christmas. We love our sweet kitty so much and there are times she seriously reminds us of a dog. She cries at the door when we leave and sprints to the door when we get home. She loves to be held, loves to sleep with us, and loves to be spoiled. It just broke this Momma’s heart when she would cry and cry when we left. Sometimes I just decided not to leave! I am a total sucker for that cat! She, on occasion – like hearing a LOUD bang of thunder, gets stressed out. Well, don’t we all every once in a while? One thing I want to be sure I tell you is – always check on which oil you put on your cat – they do not process toxins the same way dogs do, and not all oils are safe to use on them. The two oils I am going to talk about are safe on dogs and cats! I recommend diluting them, too.
Valor (original or II) – this oil just makes me smile. You can put a drop of it on the bottom of your dog’s paws or do the “petting” method – where you put some on your hand and rub it in while petting the scruff of the neck. You can do this for dogs or cats!
Peace & Calming (original or II) – this oil is very soothing to your pets. You would apply it the same way. Sometimes dogs and cats get so needy and aren’t really even experiencing occasional stress; they’re just so excited – this oil helps with that. So, it is great when company is coming over and you don’t want your precious pet to annoy your guests – unless you want them to be annoyed and leave – then don’t apply it.
